I better get on it! – With North America’s summer is in mid season, I thought I better quit faffing and write this review. It’s a banger for Sportful so i’m positive SRK will be great in 2027 season also. If you are in search of a Go to Summer Kit that won’t break the bank? Enter SRK, priced at the mid point or as some like to say “core”, the SRK kit does really, really well.
SRK is short for Sportful Riders Kit, a seemingly full on everyday kit that’s not going to bankrupt you like some other manufacturers. Sportful is a cousin of the Castelli company but with a smaller focused product line and clean style , modern colours and minimal branding.
SRK 2 Short Sleeve Jersey – $110
Slightly perforated chest and back material, super stretchy elastane smooth feel side panels and arm and arms, zippered pocket. Sporty fit, not race, but certainly not club, landing in a nice place in between. Contemporary sleeve length. Low collar, chunky nylon zipper. Durable 3 rear pockets plus a zippered pocket with a silicone pull. Nice touches are the elastic arms with debossed sportful logos (see pics below) And comes in six contemporary colors.
At $110 it’s great value, I have been wearing it now on the regular for over two months and it’s still box fresh. Material is durable and fit is great. Im 6ft 3 , 36.5″ chest and 165lb using a size large.

SRK Bib shorts – $140
With a mid range in house chamois, cuffed legs with inside silicone grippers. Two small pockets in rear, good for a Key or a gel. Simple construction with a comfortable fit. Minimal branding on the legs and a contemporary placard on the rear under the jersey. Available in Black, Gunmetal and Purple
In general these were great, If I were to be picky I would have added an extra 1/2 to the bib short length, as they do rise. a hair after a while in the saddle. The chamois is decent for up to a 4hr ride, but anything beyond that I would go for a higher end bib short, with a better / more expensive chamois.
The only notable flaw was a few untrimmed threads on the inside. No big deal.

Fit 10/10, both cut and chamois were great.
Comfort – Great for 0-4hr rides
Price – Excellent. A smidge cheaper than Rapha’s core and a smidge more contempory looking that Castelli.
Sizing – Using the tool on line sizing was on point and would say runs like Castelli.
Availability – might be tricky on line but still available in brick retailers.
Durability – Very good, no problems and high expectations for coming months,
OVERALL – Great buy, super look.
